This is my home now 

there’s time to let the soil set

so I can take root

I’ll learn the seasons 

when to grow and when to rest,

and how to adapt 

Unstable climate

be dammed – I’m designed to hold

the great weight of it

The earth will ground me 

if I dig deep, hold fast, and

build upon the rock ~
