“IT’S HUMANITY”

My indignation
can ignite and sanctify
given room to breathe

Inconspicuous
thanks in part to my privilege
and assuming rights

I can cry folly
and I’ll never be pursued
but I will be heard

To you who are scared
I will never give you up
I am not afraid

America’s Dream
is vanishing like gun smoke –
Call me ‘Alarmist’

My values may catch
but my principles can’t take
if I don’t react

‘These Divisive Times’
reveal purpose in my life
and bet on my heart ~
