I can almost image THEN,
When the plains I love for the fact
That I can look straight across em –
And for their Sunsets, where
At due West,
Scatter plotted trees
And intertwining creeks
Meet the Sky
At the Horizon Line –
In scattered clouds stretched thin,
It’s easy to see
The whole World Spin –
Starkly Turning
Against the Wind –
Back THEN,
At Glacier’s End,
Ide’of had to hike
To that High Spot
Between the Prongs
Of Indian Creek,
To see over the Canopy
Of Sugar Leaves –
It’s said once covered these
Tipton Till Plains ~
