Skip the rhetorics
the constant BREAKING –
In 2008¹
creeks and rivers overran
crossroads were impassable
Province Park was swallowed up
hardly recognizable
and there were ghoulish rumors
of things unearthed in flooding
bridges failed on county roads
and homes fell from foundations
toxins pooled in groundwater –
speculation is fodder
for destabilization ~
